Here is a partial list of projects we support, either in person or via donations • Boys and Girls Club of Post Falls • Dr. Seuss’ Reading Day for Post Falls Kindergarteners • Knit Hats for Newborns • Highway Clean-Up (section of I-90 since March 1994) • Treaty Rock Park Maintenance each spring • Post Falls Food Bank Day (Collect and deliver hundreds of pounds of food) • Post Falls Key Club (They held their 100th anniversary in 2025) • PF Library Book-Giveaway Day • Santa Hotline – we take calls from children as Santa • Christmas Adopt-a-Family Program • Salvation Army Bell Ringing • Winter Hats and Gloves to grade children And many other various community requests as we go.
Key Club Sponsorships
Our Kiwanis club supports Key Club service projects, provide mentorships and provide college scholarships for the Key Club students every year. It is a great way to help seniors get a start on their higher education! Kiwanis launched and mentored the first STEM-based Key Club to support the development and implementation of technology and science-based solutions as service projects. Projects include vaccine monitoring systems and tracking and training tools for the American Red Cross. Locally, we currently sponsor the Post Falls High School Key Club and provide scholarships to graduates. The Key Club program has been around since March 1925.
